I’ve always been a writer – my Year 6 teacher said she looked forward to the day I would win the Nobel Prize for Literature. That might have been a bit of wishful thinking on her part (we’re both still waiting for this to happen…) but with her encouragement and belief, I never stopped writing.

In 2019 I decided to take writing seriously and found my niche in writing contemporary romance. The following year, I was shortlisted for the Penguin Christmas Love Story competition. In 2022, not only did I publish my first book, The Mistletoe Mixtape, with The Christmas Collective, but I also signed with my agent, Saskia Leach, at Kate Nash Literary Agency. And in 2023, Allison & Busby published my debut novel, A Concert for Christmas. My second novel, A Match to Remember, was published in May 2024.

When I’m not writing or reading romance novels (usually of the Christmas persuasion), I can be found teaching English, singing and dancing as part of Abingdon Operatic Society, or running around with my five-year-old daughter.
